Who Is Running for My Seat?
A lot of people have asked if I have heard who is running for my seat. My answer is I have heard a number of people bounced around but none have totally committed. I have had a couple very interesting Republicans and Democrats contact me just to pick my brains. I have told them the good and the bad about serving. I’ve kept it no secret I think we’re paid quite well for serving our state, but there is a lot of work. On the other hand although serving in the legislature can be frustrating at times it is a facinating process. Besides that one gets to meet some interesting people from all walks of life. Although I wouldn’t discourage people to run as a member of a party I do encourage people to at least consider running as an Independent.
