Letters are Rolling In
I must admit I’m a bit humbled by the huge number of people who are writing, emailing, and calling me about my decision not to run this fall. Most are understanding but some want me to reconsider. Here are some of the letters.

I was saddened to hear that you are not running for reelection. I always considered you a voice of reason compared to some down there. I know how difficult it can be juggling your job and also performing your duties in Montpelier.

You are the only Republican I have ever voted for and now you’re leaving. Oh come on Scott the Republican party can’t do without you but the Democrats could sure use you. How about ditching the Republicans and becoming an Independent.
